This little gem of a pub, tastefully refurbished, has comfortable setees and couches in the bar/lounge area near to its large open fire. The adjacent mezzanine floor with its intimate area adds to the ambience as does the grand piano in the restaurant. Lana the ghost is reputed to be a constant companion- she was run over by the London stagecoach. Apparantly the first Morris Dancing was held outside in 1796. The guest beer changes on a weekly basis.All meals need to be pre booked
