This Pub is Closed Long Term

Originally from 1720 the narrow frontage hides a spacious interior which forms a single bar area extending for a considerable distance. The long brick faced bar has a tiled roof over it which carries a collection of amusing brass plaques. Adjacent to the bar is the restaurant with a subterranean feel.

The pub has been bought by the owners of Old nick's Tavern and they are in the process of applying for planning permission to extend the buildings.

Surveys currently being undertaken with a view to planning application in the summer 2018 - granted.

Long term restoration project.
