Converted c.1/1/2019 to building contractors offices. Closed 18/1/2015. Planning Application 121128/FO/2018 | Retrospective application for the change of use of the existing public house to a B1 office use with erection of a single storey rear extension with roofing over of rear yard to form storage area and the installation of external roller shutter, new boundary treatments and flag poles. Granted 6/11/2018.
History: Former Boddington's house, open and lively with people but unfortunately at the end of its days it sold no real ale. In the 1990s it sold cask Boddingtons Bitter.

A former Boddingtons Brewery new-build house opened 21/4/1978. It replaced two Boddingtons houses on Ogden Lane - an older High Bank pub that had closed in 1977, and the Dog & Partridge that had closed in early 1978.
