A central part of the St Thomas community. A 1960's pub that replaced an earlier pub which was closer to the River Exe (No.114) and demolished in 1957. A Wetherspoon pub since 2009, following all the conventions of the chain.
The pub is on the site of the former New Theatre which opened in 1910 and was fully demolished in the 1990s.
Decorated with saw tooth motifs and circular saws.
Beer festivals and 'tap takeover' events held.
Roomy with a good sized bar, plenty of tables and seating both inside and outside. Large televisions mostly show BBC News 24 on mute with subtitles.
