A micro pub at the top of South Road close to the junction with Liverpool Road. Wooden tables give the bar a rather rustic feel. Music is played but it is non intrusive so as to not distract from good conversation. There are also live music on Saturday evening. The bar has two handpulls and the pub goes out of the way to source interesting beers not often seen in this area. Real cider is also served. In addition there is also a good range of bottled beers. Now open on Monday for a pub quiz. Dogs welcome.
