This St Austell owned 300 year old thatched pub has a large garden, children's play area and ample parking. The four bed and breakfast rooms are frequently busy as the pub can boast of being the closest to Sandy Park, home of Exeter rugby. If indoors, the management prefer that you are seated at one of the numerous tables as the bar area is quite narrow. There is a seperate restuarant to the rear. Three real ales and one real cider on hand pump, along with a well stocked fridge selling various other ciders and low alcohol beers. Fine food, using locally sourced ingredients where possible, is served lunchtimes and evenings.
Accessibility access - Toilet are fully WChair adapted, there is a small step into the pub otherwise it's level. There are some tight corners, so only a manual chair, access to the beer garden through the car park.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
