This traditional village pub reopened in October 2024 after the long-serving landlord retired. Under the new landlady some small sympathetic renovations have been undertaken and they expect to be serving food again soon. Dogs are very welcome and a special menu for them is planned. Seating is split into four interconnecting areas and the two real fires provide a cosy atmosphere in winter. Currently there are three small televisions, a dart board and in the future they plan to have other pub games and monthly live music entertainment. The garden behind the pub provides outside seating and there is a small car park to the side with other parking available nearby in the village. The bus that serves the village (352) stops about a 10 minute walk away. To keep up to date with the small changes that are still ongoing, updates including food availability will on their placed on their Facebook page.
