Founded in 1928, Warsop Ex-Servicemen's club began life as the Warsop British Legion Club and has grown from humble beginnings, a small wooden shack to the purposely built venue for entertainment in the Warsop area. In 1955 they changed their name to the one that they still use today, Warsop Ex-Servicemen's club.
Originally, with the sole aim of providing ex-servicemen and women a social place to unwind and share a few drinks with friends and provide a little fun and entertainment along the way, they soon expanded their membership criteria to include everyone who wished to join. Their principles of community and delivering a safe, warm and friendly environment for their members to enjoy is still paramount to this day.
They put on live entertainment every Friday and Sunday evenings - see Facebook - along with bingo on Thursday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes, tote, meat raffle and other similar events.
