Announcement on the pubs Facebook page dated 23 Dec 2022 that the pub would be closed indefinitely, due to ill health.

The business has since been replaced as a Private Bar and Holiday Rental for Groups called the Alderfalls Group Stays and Venue/Waterfall Country Apartments, which are upstairs, but the ground floor pub, whilst still there, is NOT OPEN to the pubic.

The following planning application was made to Powys County Council on Thu 30 May 2024, and APPROVED on Thu 05 Sep 2024:- 24/0778/FUL | Change of use of the ground floor from A3(Food and drink) to C1 (Hotels) (Retrospective) | Prices Arms Station Road Coelbren Neath SA10 9PN.
