We are a family-run hotel / restaurant. The building is a Grade-II listed building, and is steeped with history like a lot of the local area. This premise was previously named the ‘Mail Coach’ but was renamed by its current owner in 2010. If you look carefully when you walk in, the original glass display with the original name is still on display.
Historic Interest
After a long spell as one of Newark's top ale houses (in the GBG for 10 consecutive years), the pub started going down hill in the late 00s. Final nail in the lid came when it became a hotel and ceased selling real ale.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
