Pleasant and comfortable Gray and Sons pub with a friendly atmosphere. There is normally a Colchester and Mauldons beers available, as well as two changing beers. There are several TV screens which mostly show sports matches and an outside smoking area. Cribbage and other card games are available.

Note that you are also permitted to bring your own food into the pub.

Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year in 2023, 2021 & 2018 and well worth a visit.
