This Pub is Closed Long Term

The Cross Keys sits on its own a couple of miles outside Llansantffraid amid rolling countryside. Established in 1766 as a drovers inn and was subsequently owned up to the 1860's by the Battlefield estate of Shrewsbury. The pub/restaurant has been in the same family for over 25 years and is very popular with diners. As well as a low beamed ceiling there is a beautiful inglenook fireplace which dominates the bar area and when lit creates a cosy atmosphere. The restaurant is accessed directly from the bar area and gets very busy at the weekends. The guest ales rotate between the Salopian, Stonehouse and Three Tuns breweries. **Reported closed since March 2020 but likely to reopen some time in the future after work completed on the property**
