The beer garden at the back of the pub is on two levels and there is a small garden at the front. Winter hours opens at 2.00pm. Sunday fun day - Drag Queen show - first Sunday of the month. Late night third Saturday of the month when pub may open until 6.00am. Craft beers available.
Historic Interest
Formerly a Home Ales house called the Foresters Arms, in the 1960s became Nottingham's first gay pub (Whitworth 2010).
In 1898, the Foresters Arms was a beerhouse under publican William W. Pickard (Wright).
The New Forester Arms was registered as an Asset of Community Value on the 10th March 2016 and was nominated by the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA.
As at November 2017, the freehold for the New Foresters (NT250362) was held by TRUST INNS LIMITED (Reg. No. 3011034).
