This Pub is Permanently Closed

A pub which in its latter days only opened on weekend evenings to over 21s. It was a music venue advertising 70's and 80's music. An Ushers Brewery symbol is attached to the outside wall indicating a former albeit short-lived ownership. It has also been the social home of Risca AFC, the Welsh Football League club that plays just up the road.

As of July 2015 the windows were shuttered and the premises sold for eventual lease in late 2020/early 2021 to the Risca Covid-19 Volunteers who provide services for the local community during the pandemic. It is now a private residence.
