This pub was once a manor house surrounded by rolling fields until the 1960's. The land was developed into housing and the house into a restaurant. It is mainly a restaurant with a cosy drinking area next to a real fire. With 20 hotel rooms, it holds 2 AA rosettes and an AA 4 star silver standard. Northamptonshire Food and Drink Award Food Pub of the Year Runner-up 2013/14.
