An ironstone grade 2 listed Tudor building, first licensed in 1837, with lattice windows and an historic wooden minstrel gallery. It comprises of 2 rooms with a low ceilinged central bar area. The smaller room has a pool table whilst the larger room has a stone fireplace with a huge mirror. Food is available Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes. It hosts regular music events and quiz on Wednesdays.
