Situated opposite the Town Hall, the pub was recently refurbished and is now a live music venue along with the usual pub games of pool and darts. The pub is a brown stone structure and was one of the several coaching inns in Brackley. The front of the building dates back to 1923.

The courtyard and beer garden have been revamped, which now includes an Aunt Saly, and there is a venue room that can be hired.
