Built in 1876 as the Precelly Hotel when the now-closed Clunderwen to Rosebush railway line was opened. Became a community-owned and run pub in 2017, refurbished and re-named 'Tafarn Sinc' ('Zinc Pub' - see pub exterior!), after landlord and landlady Brian and Hafwen Davies retired after 25 years. In the scenic heart of the Preseli Mountains with many fine local walks. Prominent in the history and social life of the area, full of old world character and charm, with sawdust on the floor. Noted for local food. Closing times may vary. Siaredir Cymraeg/Welsh often spoken.
