Rambling old riverside pub on two levels, extensively refurbished in March 2025. The downstairs bar opens onto a rear patio which overlooks the River Thames, and there is a separate function room. Up to three real ales are served including guests, CAMRA discount available. High end food is available daily from extensive menu. The pub name relates to a member of the Grand Order of Water Rat's horse. A plaque commemorates the founding of the entertainment industry charity here in 1889.
