This Pub is Permanently Closed
A single bar serves several drinking area. The interior has a lot of wood and can make the interior look quite dark but you will receive a friendly welcome. Close to the Town Hall and quayside.
Historic Interest
This pub was once owned by Thomas Ransom Rogers. It now has a blue plaque which states that in 1797 Dutch naval prisoners were held at the inn after the battle of Camperdown. It now houses a cigar import company and the building remains in a good state.
