02/11/2017 Planning Permission for Change of Use to Offices and Listed Buildings consent GRANTED. 8 subsequent additional applications submitted ref change of materials, retention of frontage etc. 2020 Pub demolished and replaced by offices.

This low beamed premises was reputedly the oldest building in Chertsey, and was possibly the oldest licensed premises in Surrey. It started its life as a pub in 1613 as the Prince's Arms and later the Boot before taking its present name in 1794. Closed in September 2014 and in December 2017 Runnymede planners granted Building Consent for the Change of Use from Public House and flat above to B1 Offices together with demolition of rear extension and replacement with new single storey floor space to rear with associated parking and boundary treatment.
