Large split-level lounge bar. Food led until mid afternoon then attractive pricing on non ale offerings make it popular in evenings as part of the vibrant scene in the area. Outside seating looking onto the market, weather permitting, is an ideal spot to watch the bustle of the Market Place. One ale on offer.

Dating from at least 1772, the pub was given its present title in 1989.
