The Wheatacre White Lion is perfect for those who want to make the most of the nearby Norfolk Broads and is within easy reach of the facilities and attractions of Beccles, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Norwich.

Sitting in two acres of grassland surrounded by mature trees and with ample parking, the White Lion is just a half-hour drive from the beautiful seaside town of Southwold.

A variety of real ales is served alongside traditional locally-sourced meals every day. Winner of South Norfolk Community Pub of the Year 2018.

Two rooms each with a comfortable double bed and ensuite bathroom. Freeview television and tea and coffee making facilities are included. Also a two bedroom flat with a kitchen and ensuite bathroom, also with television.
Camping Camping
The campsite, a minutes’ walk to the White Lion, is set in idyllic countryside amidst two acres of land surrounded by mature trees. A peaceful site near to the Norfolk Broads and the River Waveney, well suited for ramblers and bird watchers, and fishing is available nearby. With no light pollution this is an ideal place to observe the night sky. Ideal for families visiting Pleaurewood Hills and Africa Alive. There is space for 22 caravans and mobile homes and electric hook-ups are available. Prices start from £15 per night (2017). Camping is also available. (100m)
