The Anchor was thought to be a trading post and mail collection point for narrowboat workers following completion of the canal in 1790. It has a cosy feel in winter with wooden beams and open fires. In summer there are plenty of outdoor areas including a children's playground. The restaurant is on first floor with Canalside bar & marquee at carpark level.
Recent additions include electric hook-up points for mobile homes.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
