This Pub is Permanently Closed
Situated on the banks of the Lea Navigation, the pub takes its name from the ferry service that operated until the road crossing was first made at this point some 100 years ago. Once famous as a live music venue., the pub was completely rebuilt internally in the late 1970s and is now a Beefeater steakhouse. It features the split-level style popular at the time including small semi-enclosed alcoves with low level lighting.
