This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.
Originally a brewery, the pub opened around the 1920s and remained open until 1988. Reopened in 1996 as a Greene King pub after significant internal changes but closed again in 2008. Used for a while as an art gallery but now closed again. Open again April 2015 as the Handmade Burger co.
