This Pub is Permanently Closed
Was a large, comfortable bar and lounge area with stone fireplace, exposed brickwork, timber cladding and a pool table area. Restaurant upstairs which was part of the Harvester chain. Originally named the Tom Lock after the man who discovered a spring that ran parallel to Lincoln Road. Closed for £250,000 refurbishment late 2010 and reopened 13th April 2011 as The Vineyard, a modern wine bar and grill restaurant, then in July 2012 relaunched as a Thai restaurant called Mai Thai.
