Small, terraced mid-19th century locals pub. Has been the Wheelwrights Arms, the Eastern Star and the Chain and Sprocket. Narrow, carpeted L-shaped bar, with pool table area at rear. Jukebox. The pub used to have a noisy mynah bird. No real ale.
