This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.
One of the best stone buildings in the city centre and was once a Temperance hotel. Was the Royal in the 1980s, then became the Tut 'n' Shive. Then Bar Royal, then Bar Bloc. Opened in December 2010 as the Banyan Tree Indian restaurant.
