Lovely 17th century building with two small rooms and probably the oldest pub in Witney. This former Clinch’s and Courage pub prides itself on a riverside garden, the only one in Witney, but this has its downside; the pub floods at regular intervals. Now doing food.

Historic Interest

House, now public house C17. A pub since at least 1800 (the Ball), Plough & Shuttle soon after and the Plough Inn since the 1840s.
