Historic Interest
Substantial detached house. Mid C16 or earlier, restored. Stuccoed timber-framing Hipped tiled roof to eaves 2 storeys. Jettied front of 8 windows wide, sashes, flush frames. Central doorway with Doric columned porch with conrice, probably circa 1800; double doors. Returns also jettied. Interior understood to contain early C18 staircase with 3 balusters to a tread, carved tread ends, ramped handrail and panelled dado; two C16 fireplaces to ground floor and one to first floor, the latter with carved frieze. Exposed ceiling beams. Some C18 panelling etc.
