This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

The Mainstone Play Group and Community Association was formed in 1975 and various fundraising events followed to purchase a building. This was replaced several times until a lottery grant was awarded in 1998 for an extension to the current building. It is believed that at least one unknown real ale is available. Live music takes place on Saturday evenings occasionally. Live subscription TV sport is also shown.
