This Restaurant is Permanently Closed

This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

When open as a pub, Doom Bar was available in this sports bar, where up to 4 different matches/events may be viewed. Sadly, this bar closed unexpectedly, on 20 September 2019.

During the Covid-19 pandemic and enforced hospitality closures of 2020, this former sports bar has been converted into a non-licensed restaurant, Turkish Shawarma.

Planning applications reference numbers, 20/01501/FUL, dated Fri 02 Oct 2020, proposed "Change of use of ground floor from public house (Sui Generis) to restaurant (Class E)". Granted conditionally 16/11/2020.

21/00331/CDM, dated Mon 22 Feb 2021, proposed "Condition Discharge: Condition 3 of application 20/01501/FUL" (above). Condition discharge agreed 18/03/2021
