This Pub is Permanently Closed

The pub permanently closed in November 2011. There were rumours suggesting a possible change of use to a supermarket or conversion to student lets (Nov 2011). Scaffolding was erected in Feb 2013 and the pub has now been converted into flats (Sept 2013).

Planning application reference number, 12/01551/FUL, dated Fri 31 Aug 2012, proposed "Change of use, conversion and alteration of public house to form a 15-bedroom student house in multiple occupation including first-floor extension, extended dormer window and bin store". Granted conditionally 31/10/2012.
