Built around 1707 on a Lancs/Yorks Turnpike the pub derives it's name from the trade in calico printing. There are fine views of the Saddleworth hills from the pub which has been immaculately renovated. The accent is on home-cooked and well regarded food. The house beer "Printer's Pride" is brewed by Ace.
