Located in the popular Falsgrave area this sympathetically restored Grade II listed public house offers four permanent cask ales. There are two main rooms, with dogs welcome in the public bar, plus a small quiet snug featuring local memorabilia. The pub is renowned for its live music and shows TV sports in the bar. Traditional lunch is served on Sunday only, from 12 to 3.30pm. A well appointed beer garden, situated to the rear is popular in warmer weather and caters for smokers.
