Recently re-opened after a considerable period of closure. Located on The Wolds Way it is popular with walkers and locals alike. There is a split-level bar and separate restaurant. Home-cooked meals, sourced from local produce, are served during opening hours ( last orders 9pm ) and en-suite accommodation is available. Guest beers are usually from Wold Top. The Star is ideally situated for visiting the Yorkshire coast, moors and National Park. The Ganton Championship Golf Course is only a few miles away. Dogs are welcome in the bar area.
