The Grade II listed Talbot Hotel, recently refurbished, is on Yorkersgate, a short distance from the Market Place. A cosy bar is open to non-residents offering one house beer plus guest. The Talbot boasts celebrity James Martin as the executive chef, and bar meals are served lunchtimes and evenings. All accommodation is en-suite and the hotel caters for functions and corporate events. To the rear are landscaped gardens. Smokers are catered for at the rear of the Hotel.
