Owned and run by the same family for over a century and a half and believed to be the first pub established in Morningside as Edinburgh expanded to the south.
This multi-roomed bar & restaurant has a distinct ambience and character created by red décor, subdued lighting and lots of pictures, musical instruments, hunting trophies and all manner of artefacts which adorn the walls and hang from the ceilings.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the latter two including a wide choice of smørrebrød.
NOTE: Alcoholic drinks are not served until 11am on Sunday.
