This Pub is Permanently Closed

The pub dated from the 18th Century and was also on the site of an early 19th Century pottery kiln, reflected in the name of the new housing, called Kiln Place.

An application was made to Rushmoor Borough Council (08/00832/FULPP) for planning permission to develop the site into a residential development comprising of 15 houses, varying between 2 and 4 bedrooms, and four flats with associated access road, car parking and landscaping works. The pub was demolished in March 2008 with new residential housing being built on the site in 2009.
