This Pub is Permanently Closed

A late Victorian building once sitting proudly on the main road into Aldershot from the east. Closed briefly in August 2009, reopened in December, only to close for good in June 2010. Planning permission to demolish the pub and build a new Sainsbury supermarket was granted in January 2012 and the supermarket opened in April 2014.
