Reopened in March 2019 after a period of closure. The current enterprising management have created a pleasant, friendly bar and restaurant. The décor is modern and airy, with a nod towards the town’s seafaring heritage. A green wall of plants is a feature in the hallway to the toilets. The varied menu should offer something to suit most people and includes children's options.

Being situated on the quayside one can watch the activities of the local fishing fleet in this busy port and see an excellent view of Gunsgreen House, a local tourist attraction.

The accommodation is run as a separate business.

NOTE: Kitchen sometimes closes from 4pm to 5pm. Hours may extend in summer.
