Busy, family-run hotel (handy for buses and trains) in a stone-built villa with a bright, contemporary, open plan interior. The Fly Half Bar (one of the best hotel bars around) is in a split-level glass extension, with big windows on two sides and large folding doors opening onto an attractive patio. The upper central area is an award-winning restaurant. Real ales are served without sparklers on request. The Nethers is famed for its good, freshly cooked and locally sourced food which is served all week (not Mon lunch).
NOTE: Alcoholic drinks are served from 11am on Saturday and Sunday.
