This Other Drinking Establishment is Closed Long Term

This is an other drinking establishment and you will be charged for entrance at all times.

Theatre bar, extended opening times when events are staged.

The lease was returned to Guildford Borough Council in September 2025 when the operators went into administration. The Council is completing building surveys, identifying required remedial work and determining whether a community-focused arts venue is viable.

With a riverside terrace overlooking the River Wey, this bar wa primarily for theatre and event attendees and only opened on show days, an hour prior to the performance.

No cask ale but bottled beers were provided by Firebird Brewery and ciders from Garden Cider Co.

Historic Interest

Site of old power station, possibly built 1913.
