Popular old pub standing back from the Melton high street. The front bar serves as both a lounge and tap area. There is a separate function room, family room and sizeable outside area. Food is served every lunchtime (except Mon), Tuesday to Friday evenings, and all afternoon on Sunday. Poker matches are played here. Handy for the RSPB Old Moor Wetlands Centre and Manvers. Only one real ale served now, sourced nationally, and its not always available.
