Reopened, following an extensive refurbishment, in December 2023 following a 4 year closure. Set in the picturesque village of Ulley, the pub's stone and timber interior is split into a restaurant area and bar. There is also a family room in this much extended pub. A large car park, patio area and lawned gardens complete the facilities. Home cooked meals are available everyday and it is handy for visiting Ulley Country Park. The nearby parish church is also worth visiting. There is a notice board for customers to use and a map displaying Ulley village, Ulley Country Park and the Reservoir. Real fires are used to heat the pub. Food is served. Reopened again in April 2025, following a short period of closure, under new management.

The oldest part of the pub dates back centuries, though it has since been extended.
