Estate type 1960's build pub on the corner of the main road through the village. Has been a regular outlet for the increasingly rare cask version of John Smith's Bitter. Handy for visits to the Butterfly Farm and Anston Stones and a short distance from the A57 trunk road between Worksop and Sheffield. There is a Tesco Express store in part of the original outside area, which you have to walk past to reach the garden. No longer selling real ale by January 2025.
