A pub in the heart of the city. Part of the areas social scene since 1828. Consists of one main room with partitioned seating, a beer garden and an upstairs meeting room (Ready from Autumn 2024). The outdoor area consists of a new beer garden. Mon sees a quiz with free entry and a £50 bar tab. Tue has an Acoustic Jam night of all abilities. The weekend sees local DJs take to the decks. Piped music of differing genres on other evenings.

Beer consists of 2 cask on a rotational basis, with another available shortly. 5 Craft Keg available and a cider. International lagers available on other pumps.
