This Pub is Permanently Closed

The original Station Refreshment Rooms were introduced in the third incarnation of Stafford Station built in 1862. The dining room closed in 1955 but the bar remained and a replacement was incorporated in the new station building of 1962. The bar closed in 1983 and refreshment for travellers is now provided by the Pumpkin Cafe snack bar.
