Originally known as the Noahs Ark Pub which became the Weights and Measures Office in 1970. It reopened as a pub, the Surgery, on the 14th June 1999. Following this there were various changes in identity. An upstairs room was available for functions and meetings. The pub closed suddenly in February 2013 and reopened in July 2017 as a music venue with admission charges.
